Christine Pedi  (Performer)  is a Drama Desk nominee for her work in the satirical revue Forbidden Broadway.  She's currently playing the title role in Miss Abigails Guide to Dating Mating and Marriage (performing Saturdays BETWEEN NEWSicals mat & eve shows!). On Broadway she's been in Talk Radio with Liev Schrieber and Little Me with Martin Short.  Fans of HBO’s The Sopranos may recognize her for her pivotal role as Mrs Bobby Baccala. (4 scenes, 5 lines ... dead.  BUT he loved her so much he couldn't defrost her ziti for months!)   Her multi award winning cabaret show Great Dames has played New York, Provincetown, London, South Africa and all over the US and her holiday show There’s No Bizness Like Snow Bizness is an annual December tradition at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. She’s been a featured soloist on the QM2, Avery Fisher Hall, and with symphonies across the coutry. Michael West (Performer) most recently appeared in Forbidden Broadway Goes to Rehab, at the 47th Street Theatre (original cast recording on DRG). Off-Broadway: Forbidden Broadway (five editions plus national & international tours and symphonic concerts 2,500 plus performances); When Pigs Fly (directed by Mark Waldrop; original cast recording on RCA); Mr. President; Whoop-Dee-Doo; much regional, including Forbidden Vegas, in Sin City.  Named by his native Atlanta's press "The Funniest Man in Atlanta" and by the Vegas press as a "Las Vegas At Its Best Entertainer".  Michael's acclaimed one-man show, Almost Live from the Betty Ford Clinic, is being updated and rewritten as we speak.  www.michaelwest.net. Emily McNamara (Understudy)

New York credits include: The Awesome 80’s Prom (also co-wrote), My Big Gay Italian Wedding, My First Time, Minimum Wage, The Karaoke Show, and Slut. She was just seen in The Groove Factory at the New York Musical Theater Festival.  Regional favorites include: Little Shop Of Horrors, Fiddler On The Roof, Dreamgirls, Godspell, Smokey Joe's Cafe, and Chicago. Ryan Knowles (Understudy) is very happy to be joining the talented cast of NEWSical.  Other off-Broadway credits include: Caligula in Caligula Maximus (La Mama), Nick Bottom in Fools In Love (Manhattan Ensemble Theatre), Prospero in Tempest: The Musical (Cherry Lane).  National Tours: How The Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical (Grandpa Who) in 2011 and 2010OZ: The Musical (Wicked Witch of the Westside).  Regional/NY credits: Disney's Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular (The Genie), Assassins (John Wilkes Booth), The Radio City Christmas Spectacular (King Humbug).  On TV, Ryan hosted Nickelodeon's daily live program Me:TV, entertaining millions of children (and some adults) nationwide.  He is the author of five plays and musicals, including his multi award-winning one-man show, Dig & Be Dug: The Gospel of Lord Buckley.  

Ed Goldsheider (Musical Director/ Arrangements) was the original music director of Newsical Upstairs at Studio 54, and is happy to be back with it! Other NYC credits: Urinetown (Conductor), Legally Blonde, Wicked, Avenue Q, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Altar Boyz, The Fantasticks, The Radio City Christmas Spectacular. Mark Waldrop (Director) Directed Bette Midler's Divine Miss Millennium Tour.  Broadway: Bea Arthur, Just Between Friends (2002 Tony Award nomination, Special Theatrical Event.)  Off-Broadway:  Howard Crabtree's When Pigs Fly, (1997 Drama Desk Award, 1997 Outer Critic's Circle Award, OBIE;) Newsical, Game Show, Pete 'n' Keely, Listen to My Heart, Inventing Avi, My Deah, and Capitol Steps.  Also: Ziegfeld Follies of 1936 (City Center Encores;) Hey, Love! Rick Crom (Creator and Writer) has been providing songs and sketches for topical revues since his first Off Broadway show RSVP in 1982. Since then Oh Fine, The Subject Was Neurosis, Absolutely Rude, Our Life and Times and What In The World have been presented Off Bwy or in Cabaret. He provided material for Aspen's Crystal Palace for 15 years. Past  NEWSical productions garnered him Drama Desk Nominations for Best Lyrics and Best Revue in 2004 and 2010.  He wrote the music and provided songs for the film The Big Gay Musical (2009) and in 2008 won "best music" and " Most Promising New Musical" award from NYMF for his score to Bonnie and Clyde: A Folktale book by Hunter Foster.

J. Jared Janas and Rob Greene (Wig and Hair Design) Recent designs include wigs for All About Me and Next to Normal on Broadway, Twist at the Alliance Theatre, Peter Pan at Paper Mill Playhouse, Meet Me in St. Louis at TUTS, Break of Noon, Beebo Brinker Chronicles, Shout!, Smokey Joe’s CafĂ©, Speech and Debate, Oroonoko, Ohio State Murders, M. Butterfly, Tea and Sympathy, Accomplices, Dinah Was, Silence! the Musical, Trouble in Paradise, The Supreme Court (PBS Documentary) and The Full Monty (National Tour).  They have also built wigs currently seen in Wicked, The Addams Family, Promises, Promises, and Jersey Boys. (Set/Projection Designer) is thrilled be returning to yet another incarnation of NEWSical, Jason's credits include productions of West Side Story, Don Giovanni, Fiddler on theRoof, Cinderella, 42nd Street and many others.Off-Broadway Jason designed sets and costumes for the 18 month run of the NY premiere of A Stoop On Orchard Street. Jason scenic designed the 2005 and 2009 productions of NEWSical. For 4 summers in a row Jason designed for the Official Summer Theatre of Georgia, Peach State Summer Theatre (PSST!), designing such shows as Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, The Fantasticks,  Gypsy, Cabaret, Big River, The Producers, A Year with Frog and Toad, and Thoroughly Modern Millie. In film his production design work can be seen in The Gay Musical , You Can’t Have it All, and the upcoming Go Go Crazy.  He holds an MFA in Scenic Design from the Conservatory of Theatre Arts and Film, division of Entertainment Design Technology, Purchase College, SUNY.

Ryan Obermeier  (Stage Manager) has been working in the entertainment business for over 10 years. He has performed in numerous productions throughout his career including Icons: Off-Broadway, The National tour of Hairspray and Naked boys Singing. He has also worked as a singer for Norwegian Cruise Line as well as Paramount Parks. He has a true passion for casting and hopes to pursue a further career in that field in the future. He is so happy to be part of this wonderful show with such a talented bunch of actors.

Annette Niemtzow (Associate Producer)  has been producing in New York and in the West End for almost 20 years. Productions which she has supported as producer or investor have earned 2 Pulitzer Prizes, 21 Tony nominations resulting in 5 Awards, and 14 Olivier nominations resulting in 5 Awards.

Adam Weinstock (Associate Producer) is president of Creative Concept Productions. Since it's inception CCP has produced over 100 shows ranging from the 1996 revival of Mart Crowley’s The Boys in the Band, to the critically acclaimed 21 Dog Years Doing Time at Amazon.com at the Cherry Lane Theater. Other Off-Broadway productions include Disappearing Act, The Director, The It Girl, and Big Al. Recently Adam directed Agatha Christies’ And Then There Were None, and The Laramie Project as well as, producing four shows and three readings.  Dubbed Mr. Entertainment by the NY Times, in a featured article in 2002, Mr. Weinstock has produced on both coasts of the USA as well as in London on the West End. Lisa Reich (Associate Producer) Is thrilled to join the team of NEWSical.  Lisa's life in the theatre began over 30 years ago as a performer, and her resume has since expanded to include directing, teaching, and—most recently—producing. She has formed her own company, Chalant Productions, and is currently on the producing team of Honeymoon In Vegas and Greenwood.

Elyse Pasquale (Producer) is thrilled to be making headlines with NEWSical. Credits include Off-Broadway's Die! Mommie! Die! and the Chicago production of Betty Rules. Elyse is also a producer of independent films, including Blur and The Unidentified.
